Your first appointment is a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation. We will discuss your current concerns, symptoms, health and psychiatric history, medications, sleep, daily functioning, relationships, faith, and treatment goals. Together, we will develop a personalized plan that may include medication, behavioral strategies, laboratory recommendations, referrals, and Christ-centered support.

No. Medication is recommended only when clinically appropriate and agreed upon through shared decision-making. We will discuss potential benefits, risks, side effects, alternatives, and your preferences before beginning or changing any medication.

Yes. ADHD care may include a comprehensive evaluation, behavioral modification strategies, practical skill-building, stimulant or non-stimulant medication options when clinically appropriate, and ongoing monitoring. Additional records, screening tools, or testing may be requested when needed.

The Vine welcomes adults from all backgrounds who are comfortable receiving care from an unapologetically Christ-centered practice. Jesus Christ is the foundation of our approach, and every patient is treated with dignity, compassion, and respect. Participation in prayer or specific spiritual activities is discussed openly and handled with consent.

Our care integrates evidence-based psychiatric treatment with biblical principles. Depending on your needs, treatment may include Scripture-based reflection, prayer, faith-based assignments, identity work, and practical application of God’s Word. Faith integration complements appropriate clinical care and does not replace it.

The Vine currently accepts select plans through Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas, Aetna, UnitedHealthcare and Optum, and Cigna and Evernorth. Self-pay, HSA cards, and FSA cards are also accepted. Coverage varies by individual plan, and eligibility and benefits will be verified before your appointment.

Yes. The Vine offers telehealth appointments and limited in-person availability. The appropriate format will depend on your location, clinical needs, scheduling, and the service requested.

Appointments may include supportive counseling, psychoeducation, behavioral strategies, and skills drawn from evidence-based approaches. The Vine does not replace ongoing weekly psychotherapy when that level of support is needed. We may recommend or coordinate with a therapist as part of your treatment plan.

We require at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Late cancellations and missed appointments may result in a fee. Complete policy details are provided before your first visit.
